Benson Hill Transfer One Week Six

hey everyone!

well i never thought i would be happy for it to rain again, but its finally raining instead of snowing! it has snowed all this last week and it has been cold i dont like the snow haha missionary work gets alot harder when its cold like that. other than the snow it has been a great week we had zone conference yesterday thats why im emailing on tuesday again and next week is transfers so ill be emailing tuesday then too. but zone conference was supposed to be last thursday but they canceled it because the snow got to bad and they parked all the cars in the mission, so its a good thing i dont have a car anyway! so it got moved to yesterday.

Zone conference was awesome though pres larkin is amazing. the whole conference was basicly on hollieness. our mission has has a past of disobedience and pres larkin is turning it around and he is trying to make it the most holy mission on earth. it was a great meeting and alot of changes were made to the mission this last week too. we now have to wear suits all the time because before we could just wear slacks and a jacket but its now only suits and they are stressing that we sanctify our selves and become holy people to do the lords work. it was way cool because during one of pres larkins talks he started talking of grandpa and about the love and compasion that he had and an experience that pres larkin had with grandpa in a meeting after grandma was diagnosed with leukiema. it was way cool to hear stories of grandpa. it was an awesome meeting though.

seattle is crazy! like i feel like im in a foreign mission most of the time haha. most people we talk to are from different countries and half of them dont speak english. this week we started teaching a lady named roda. she is from sudan and she has the tribal scars all over her face they are pretty legit. she cant speak english very well and her language is crazy it is only a spoken african language so she cant read or write. we are also teaching a family from congo they are amazing and the dad earnest has already read through enos in two weeks of reading the book of mormon they love it so we are trying to work with them and get them baptised but they dont believe that god only has one church. so its a work in progress.

this week we got threatened to get beat up! it was pretty crazy this little white dude came out of his appartment yelling at us and cussing at us saying that we knocked on his door and woke his grandma up! it was pretty funny im starting to not like white people because they are all mean and everyone else is usually pretty nice to us. but it was funny because that guys neighbor was out side too and he watched us get yelled at so he snuck us into his house after the other guy went inside and we had a good conversation with him. it was pretty funny but we were both kinda scared for a sec.

well things are good here we are going to have an awesome week. i hope everything is great there. love you all and give hank a good rub for me!

love
